From the depths of the DMM design department comes yet another unique development. The Belay Master is a dedicated locking carabiner for belaying and descending which resolves one of climbings oldest safety issues. The integral molded super-tough nylon swing catch is designed to keep the Belay Master fixed securely in place during use to greatly reduce the possibility of it rotating and receiving a dangerous "cross-gate" loading, when arresting a fall. When the job is done and it's time to remove it from your belay loop, simply flip the catch and it comes away. It is also impossible to shut the catch unless the gate is screwed up fully which is an important new safety feature. Ideal from novice to expert, the Belay Master is designed to be used with all belay devices and the "Italian Hitch". Lock into a Belay Master!
