Description of Sterling 5mm Accessory Cord :

Sterling offers one of the widest selections of accessory and prusik cords availible. These cords are for general utility purposes only, not for use in lead climbing or rappelling. Like other rope products, we design our cords differently than the competion, to be more rugged, supple, easier to knot and use. This is achieved by having higher twist levels in the sheath and cores. Typical cords have no twist in the sheath which reduces longevity and makes the cords stiff and difficult to use.Minimum Breaking Strength: 1144lbs/ 5kN
