Like all of our piolets, the anodized shaft is built from lightweight, aircraft aluminum alloy for high strength. The investment-cast, one-piece stainless steel head is comfortable to wrap your fingers around, and the slim, neutral pick and aggressive teeth are engineered for secure self-arrest. The Raven with Grip is equipped with a Slider Leash and a dual-density, molded grip for when the going gets steep or when you need to chop steps or a bivy platform.
