The Drifter combines the comfort of lower-cut shoe construction with the supportive features of a hiking-boot.

The Drifter combines the comfort of lower-cut shoe construction with the full panoply of supportive hiking-boot features: a water-resistant, full-grain leather upper with bellows tongue, a dual-density recycled polyethylene/polyurethane insole for lateral support on uneven terrain and a Vibram™ Ecostep™ (up to 30% recycled rubber) lug outsole. An air-cushioning disk in the 15% recycled EVA foam midsole also helps heel stability. The 70% recycled synthetic-cork footbed has a carbon component with antimicrobial qualities and the fast-wicking, quick-drying Capilene® lining has natural odor control. The leather meets ISO-14001 standards for environmental stewardship.
