Northern Mountain Supply (NMS) considers that the privacy of our e-commerce
customers and web site visitors is a serious matter. The following Online
Privacy Policy summarizes the terms and conditions under which NMS gathers
personal information and what we do, and do not do, with this information
once it has been received by us.
What happens to the various forms of personal information submitted to, or acquired by, NMS?
Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Our customer information is just that -- 'our' customer information.
If we know who somone is it's because they've done business with us
at one time or the other. To protect their privacy and confidentiality
we will safeguard their personal information as if it were our own.
All of our customers are valued members of the NMS business community.
We will not sell, exchange or otherwise distribute the personal information
we acquire through the normal course of NMS retail and online business
transactions to anyone, or any other business. In addition, we do not,
have not and will not buy names, addresses or other forms of contact
information from anyone, or any other business.
In fact, if our customers do not want to hear from us via e-mail,
snail-mail or telephone we'll gladly honor their request once we receive
it in writing. Until then we will be in touch on occassion with the
members of our business community through various forms of communication
media so that we can keep them well informed, well outfitted and happy

What kind of personal information does NMS gather from web
site visitors, and/or customers?
Information gathered/exchanged via Cookies:
A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to a web site visitor's
computer browser from the NMS web server and stored temporarily on that
computer's hard drive. The NMS cookie gathers/exchanges nothing more
than the minimum that's required to make our customer's online shopping
experience as safe, efficient and secure as possible.
We use cookies for informational purposes only. At the present time
we do not run any banner or third party advertising at NMS. Thus, cookies
do not serve any purpose for us other than those related to providing
our customers with an easy to use and secure environment within which
to transact their NMS online business.
If customers wish to purchase products online through the NMS secure
web server it is required that they allow cookies from our secure server
to be received by whatever computer they may be attempting to order
from online. If they choose to order products through our toll free
telephone interface, and or fax line, then they can safely refuse to
receive all cookies from our web server at their discretion.

To become a member of the MountainClub folks must provide NMS with
the following information: e-mail address; first name; last name; postal
address; city; state/province; zip/postal code; and country.
At their discretion, they may provide us with their telephone number
as well.

To join the MountainClub Newsletter subscription list folks must provide
NMS with the following information: e-mail address; and full name.
Personal information required to purchase products online at NMS via
our secure server:
